Covid Art 81: Plum and Pepper

This is one of the only watercolors from my summers in Provence I have not yet published. Looking at it brings back the freshness of the fruits, vegetables, colors, scents, and delight of weekly Farmers’ Markets in Carpentras, Vaison la Romaine, and Beaumes de Venise. Wish I were there now, even if the vendors would have to pick out my fruit and I would have to wear a facial mask.
