Antiques

One of my favorite series integrated original photographs into my prints.  I used 90 - 120 year old family photographs and original documents to create works that play with the shades of the original photographs, the paper, and the inks.  
 
The idea for this series came about when consumers started to store their images on the web in the 2000 timeframe, and then lost them when a number of early cloud storage companies went bankrupt and shut down.  I use the silicon wafers to represent our use of computers to extend our personal memory.
