Covid Art 78: India Gate #3

This is the 3rd and last of my India Gate drawings from my insitu sketches while visiting India in 2005. It was a mediocre sketch so I started to work with it. I visited four cities and I honestly don’t remember where this gate can be found. I found an antique photo where the cupola of a church tower mimics the arch that I drew on the other side of the world.

Then I added numbers and pathway in colored pencils. The doodled numbers are significant because of the astronomy-related architecture of Jantan Mantar that impressed me deeply.
