Covid Art 47: Boy at Homework

I love the way old photos were staged and how they were staged at the photographer’s studio with elaborate backdrops. This one just has a pedestal but in several other photos the backgrounds are pure fantasy, in contrast to my professional family photos with an ugly curtain behind us. In this one, I’ve included an elementary school text book that he might have been studying. This is underneath my prototype silicon wafer, first printed in 1997.
