Covid Art 4: Four dogs

I did this sketch of different dogs in 2012. I remember my thoughts at the time: I was searching for a medium sized dog to adopt and went to the animal shelter in two counties several times and spoke with rescue dog associations frequently. I thought I knew what I wanted but there so many dogs in need of homes that the experience changed my expectations and desires. In the end, I didn’t adopt a dog until three years later.
