Ahh the Swiss, wholesome fun every weekend. Here, another page from my friend Heidi’s 1930s songbook together with a photo of her and her pals climbing stairs cut into a mountain. When I met Heidi in 1970, she still hiked downhill through hard pack snow in a skirt and sweater; she must have been around 55 years old then.
