In early 2005, without access to a print shop, I decided to execute on an idea that had been intriguing me for the previous two years. Using my 16" trials and non-editioned artworks, I cut and pasted different variations of Ming, Stop!Wait!Go!, and the Numbered Series together to form new monoprints.

The results are very beautiful. The combination of complex designs, bright or muted colors, and synergy in underlying motifs has been most gratifying. Each of these is necessarily a monotype. My wish is for several of them to be exhibited side by side so that the interplay of color and patterns both intrigues and delights the viewer over and over.
